The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Category Manager to take ownership of key spend areas across Facilities Management, Property, Maintenance and Repairs. This is a business-critical role requiring someone who can step in immediately and deliver value at pace.

You will lead category strategy, manage complex procurement exercises, and ensure compliance within a public sector environment, leveraging established frameworks and best practice procurement methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end procurement activity across FM, property, maintenance & repairs

Develop and implement category strategies delivering value and risk mitigation

Run compliant tenders under Public Sector regulations

Utilise and manage relevant procurement frameworks

Stakeholder engagement across estates, finance and operational teams

Supplier performance and contract management

Deliver cost savings and service improvements

Essential Experience

Proven track record as a Procurement Category Manager

Strong expertise in Facilities Management, Property, Maintenance & Repairs

In-depth knowledge of Public Sector procurement regulations and governance

Experience using Public Sector frameworks

Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced interim environment

Strong stakeholder management skills

Requirements

Available to start immediately

Able to attend London site 1 day per week

Comfortable working at pace with minimal handover
