6–12 Month Contract

We are supporting a major UK defence programme with the appointment of an experienced Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to provide interim support on a high-profile and complex portfolio.

Working within a highly regulated environment, you will play a key role in driving procurement strategy, managing supplier relationships and supporting the successful delivery of critical programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• * Lead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities across complex categories and work packages.

Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with key suppliers.

Drive commercial outcomes while ensuring compliance with governance and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Support supplier performance, risk management and contract change activities.

Identify opportunities to improve value, resilience and supply chain performance.

Work closely with programme teams to ensure procurement activities align with delivery objectives.

Experience Required

• * Strong procurement and supply chain experience gained within the Defence sector.

Proven track record of contract negotiation and contract management.

Experience managing complex supplier relationships and delivering strategic sourcing activities.

Ability to engage and influence stakeholders across multiple functions.

Understanding of governance and compliance requirements within highly regulated environments.

Active UK Security Clearance (SC or above) is essential. xpwpeyx
