Supply Chain Analyst (Contract)

🗓 Initial 6-Month Contract

Arguile are supporting a defence aviation / aerospace manufacturing organisation undergoing a period of supply chain transformation, who are looking to appoint an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to support their procurement and category management teams.

This role will play a key part in enhancing supply chain visibility and data-driven decision making, working closely with buyers, commodity managers, and leadership to provide accurate, structured insights across the function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, cleanse, and consolidate data from ERP systems and multiple sources
  • Develop and maintain robust supply chain datasets to support procurement activities
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across spend, sourcing, and supplier performance
  • Support category management and sourcing strategies through clear data presentation
  • Enable improved decision-making by translating complex data into actionable insights
  • Provide additional analytical bandwidth to procurement teams, supporting ongoing transformation activity

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Supply Chain Analyst / Procurement Analyst role
  • Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, and category management principles
  • Experience within manufacturing and/or aerospace environments (highly desirable)
  • Advanced capability with ERP systems and data analysis tools (e.g. Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to work with large datasets and present findings in a clear, structured format
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and commercial awareness
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

  • Initial on-site presence required, with hybrid working available thereafter
  • BPSS Clearance require so candidates must have full right to work in the UK
  • Candidates should be within reasonable commuting distance so must be based in the South West UK
