Senior Procurement Consultant – Cost Reduction & Value Creation
Senior Procurement Consultant – Cost Reduction & Value Creation
£60,000–£75,000 + Excellent Package
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Procurement Consultant to join a highly regarded international management consultancy, delivering high-impact cost reduction and value creation programmes for major private sector clients.
The consultancy has built a strong reputation for delivering significant, measurable commercial results, with a focus on identifying and implementing procurement savings rather than traditional category-specific or long-term transformation engagements.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the commercial, results-driven side of procurement consulting and wants to take greater ownership of challenging client projects.
The Opportunity
- Lead workstreams across procurement cost reduction and value creation programmes.
- Identify, develop and deliver significant savings opportunities across multiple spend categories.
- Work with senior client stakeholders to challenge existing commercial arrangements and improve supplier value.
- Apply strategic sourcing, spend analytics and negotiation expertise to deliver measurable financial results.
- Work across varied private sector clients, gaining exposure to different industries and commercial challenges.
What They're Looking For
- Previous procurement consultancy experience is essential, ideally delivering cost reduction and value creation programmes.
- A demonstrable track record of delivering significant, quantifiable procurement savings for clients.
- Broad procurement and strategic sourcing experience rather than a narrow category specialism.
- Strong commercial negotiation, analytical and client-facing skills.
- Experience working with private sector clients would be particularly advantageous.
- A proactive, commercially astute individual who thrives in fast-paced, delivery-focused consulting environments.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a consultancy where commercial impact is at the heart of its offering, working alongside highly capable procurement professionals and building a career through challenging projects, increased responsibility and clear progression opportunities.
