major construction, infrastructure, or capital projects
? Do you enjoy operating within complex delivery environments, influencing key suppliers, and shaping supply chain performance across high-value programmes?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a
nationally significant infrastructure organisation
delivering a major capital investment programme. Sitting within a sophisticated procurement and commercial function, this role offers the chance to play a key role in
construction supply chain management, supplier performance, and supply chain governance
across a critical infrastructure portfolio.
You’ll operate in a highly visible position supporting the successful delivery of major construction programmes through robust supplier performance, supply chain risk management, and operational best practice.
You’ll work closely with commercial, procurement, and programme delivery stakeholders to ensure strategic suppliers are performing effectively, risks are mitigated, and supply chain capability is aligned to programme objectives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting Supply Chain Management across major
construction and infrastructure programmes
.
- Driving supplier performance through robust
KPI, SLA, governance, and reporting frameworks
.
- Managing supplier risk, segmentation, and performance improvement activity.
- Leading supplier reviews and building strong, performance-led relationships with key suppliers.
- Supporting contract and supplier governance activity across complex delivery programmes.
- Working closely with procurement, commercial, and programme teams to support successful capital delivery.
- Contributing to supplier strategy, contractor engagement, and wider supply chain best practice.
What We’re Looking For
- Circa
5–10 years’ experience
across
Supply Chain, Commercial, Procurement or Capital Delivery roles
within
construction, infrastructure, or major capital projects
.
- Strong understanding of
supplier performance, supply chain management, KPI/SLA frameworks, and contract management
.
- Experience working across
major infrastructure or capital programmes ideally client-side rather than contractor-side
.
- Exposure to
supplier governance, risk management, NEC environments, or contract management frameworks beneficial
.
- Strong stakeholder influence skills with the confidence to engage senior audiences.
- MCIPS, MRICS or equivalent professional qualification highly desirable.
