Job Description

Buckner Enterprise Solutions Ltd is seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Director to lead the development and execution of the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee procurement, logistics, inventory management, supplier relationships, and operational planning to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain operations. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive continuous improvement, support business growth, and deliver exceptional operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement company-wide supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and supplier performance.
  • Optimise supply chain processes to improve efficiency, service quality, and cost control.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and strategic business partners.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, identify operational risks, and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing supply chain and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CIPS, APICS, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in senior supply chain, logistics, or operations leadership roles.
  • Strong strategic planning, commercial, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale operational projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, supply chain technologies, and advanced data analysis tools.

Pay: £78,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
