Role: Interim Procurement Manager

Location: Ascot

Rate: £35 - £40 per hour via an umbrella company

Contract: Temporary, for 6 months with a chance to extend

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Interim Procurement Manager to join an Ascot based organisation in need of support within their busy procurement function. The role will be for 6 months initially with further opportunities to be extended.

You will be expected to be on site two days per week, with on-site parking available.

The Role

• Lead on day-to-day procurement projects within capital equipment and maintenance category areas
• Influence both internal and external stakeholders with decisions that comply with PA23 and PCR2015
• Provide support to the Head of Procurement as and when required
• Analyse and interpret legislative requirements, procurement best practice and use appropriate contractual frameworks for certain procurements above threshold

The Person

• Experience of working in a busy procurement team
• Experience of Estates/Capital procurement is desirable
• Public Sector procurement experience is desirable
• Ability to run competitive procurements without oversight
• Good communication skills both written and verbal

Pay: £35.00-£40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
