Interim Deputy Director Procurement Public Sector (Inside IR35)

Are you a highly experienced procurement leader ready to drive large-scale public sector transformation? We are seeking an Interim Deputy Director of Procurement to lead a £1.75bn procurement portfolio, oversee complex and high-value procurement activity, and deliver a major transformation programme aligned to the Procurement Act 2023.

This is a high-profile, strategic interim role operating at senior leadership level. You will shape procurement strategy, influence major programmes and deliver complex projects effectively and compliantly.

Role

• Lead procurement across Sourcing, Major Programmes, Projects, and Frameworks
• Oversee complex, high-value procurements
• Drive transformation and embed best practice
• Advise senior stakeholders and maintain a strong procurement pipeline

Requirements

• Deputy Director level experience or above
• Experience managing large procurement portfolios (£1bn+)
• Strong public sector transformation background
• Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023
