Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Job Type: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days in the office per week required)
Office Location: Central London
The Role
As a Procurement Analyst reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will play a central role in an important project by:
- Tracking and reporting on the status of vendor engagements and commitments
- Presenting reports and data insights to senior stakeholders
- Reviewing contractual and vendor-related documentation
- Attending and contributing to regular project update meetings
- Engaging directly with third-party vendors on behalf of the firm
- Processing purchase orders and transactions as needed
- Storing, maintaining, and managing records of vendor documentation, relationship history, and ongoing discussions
- You'll collaborate closely with the Procurement, Legal, and Transformation teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure smooth project delivery and effective vendor oversight.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant experience in IT Procurement, IT Finance/Accounting, or a similar centralised procurement team focused on IT sourcing
- Prior work in a procurement function within a multinational organisation
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Methodical approach with strong attention to detail and ability to analyse complex data sets
- Decisive, confident in recommendations, and highly self-motivated
- Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to explain ideas clearly and collaboratively
- Proven capacity to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience in geographically dispersed, team-oriented settings
- Genuine desire to grow and develop within the procurement field
