I am working with a dynamic and growing FMCG business who are seeking a commercially-focused Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost optimisation initiatives. This is a high-impact role, offering the opportunity to shape procurement strategy and drive category innovation.
This role is ideal for a commercially savvy procurement professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving supplier excellence and product innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic supplier partnerships to meet current and future business needs
- Identify new sourcing opportunities that support innovation and category growth
- Lead commercial negotiations and supplier performance reviews
- Manage procurement budgets, delivering targeted cost savings
- Support cross-functional teams with category expertise
- Oversee compliance with food safety, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards
- Lead and develop a high-performing procurement team
What You’ll Bring
- Strong procurement experience within the grocery or food sector
- Experience with European supply chains and own-label product sourcing
- Skilled negotiator with a commercial mindset and budget management expertise
- Knowledge of food safety, compliance, and responsible sourcing requirements
- Collaborative approach, able to engage cross-functionally across Technical, Sales, and Marketing teams
