As an SAP Production Planning and PPDS Manager, your role will involve:

  • Deliver SAP enabled transformation programmes specialising in SAP Production Planning and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) solutions for supply chain processes.
  • Contribute to and manage implementation plans that maximise SAP technology’s potential whilst minimising implementation risk.
  • Designing and configuring end-to-end solutions and ensuring deliverables align with design principles, standards, and methodologies.
  • Participate in client workshops covering a range of topics including process design, industry best practices and bring subject knowledge in SAP Production Planning and PPDS across supply chain.
  • Build relationships with all client stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in practice development activities that support sales and internal capability development.
  • Facilitate fit to standard and detailed design workshops within your functional area, gathering business requirements, converting them to meaningful Functional requirements and mapping out business processes.
  • Supporting pre-sales conversations with the clients and helping to shape a vision of what their Supply Chain Transformation journey roadmap
  • The role will involve travelling to client location depending on the project requirements.

Essentials

  • Experience in leading design workshops and Strong S/4HANA project delivery experience.
  • Delivery of S/4HANA-enabled transformation programmes, specialising in S/4HANA Production Planning and PPDS, with an appreciation of the broader S/4 Supply Chain landscape.
  • Completion of at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and PPDS implementation.
  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP PPDS implementation, architecture including experience in key capabilities like PPDS Heuristics, optimisations and Core Interface (CIF)
  • Experience leading discussions on designing key Production Planning/PPDS objects, including Master and transactional data, and their integration with PLM/IBP/EAM systems.
  • Strong understanding of cross-functional modules such as SAP PS, QM, IBP, EAM, EWM, and MM, with proven expertise in establishing system integration between SAP S/4HANA
  • Experience in interface design (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services) and Enhancements
  • Experience with data migration and cutover planning.
  • End-to-end knowledge of business processes.
  • Experience in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design to testing, implementation, and documentation.
  • Experience of working in Process and Discrete industries
  • Lead change management efforts to facilitate user adoption and proficiency with PPDS.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirables

  • Certification in SAP Associate Production planning (On prem or cloud) and SAP Associate quality management.
  • Exposure to SAP Digital manufacturing.
