Role is based on site in Telford

Must be available for immediate start

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Tactical Buyer who holds an excellent standard of attention to detail, can work in a busy environment and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience using Sage 200, is capable of maintaining supplier / product records & importantly is a team player.

The primary responsibilities for the Buyer include management of the MRP, actioning order requirements and responding to internal requisitions. Monitoring pricing, supporting PPV & reporting lines on an internal & global communication basis.

Role and Responsibilities

• Raising Purchase Orders.
• Processing Requisitions.
• Processing invoice queries in conjunction with the finance department.
• Processing non-conformance queries in conjunction with the Quality Department.
• Maintaining data in Sage, including; data inputting and amendments as and when required.
• Ensure best purchase prices for goods and services are achieved and maintained at all times.
• Working within the Company’s ISO procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of 2+ years in a procurement or purchasing role
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
