The Procurement Lead role is to lead and deliver the end-to-end procurement of ESP’s future Faults & Maintenance contracts, ensuring a robust, compliant and commercially effective tender process aligned to the agreed F&M strategy and mobilisation timetable
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end to end tender planning, governance, timetable and risk management
- Support development of the procurement strategy in line with the F&M operating model and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to produce a high-quality tender pack (specification, SLAs, commercial model and draft contracts)
- Manage market engagement and run the external tender process, including ITT issue, clarifications and evaluation
- Design and manage a robust evaluation and moderation process with a clear audit trail (technical, commercial, H&S and compliance)
- Support preferred bidder selection, internal approvals and contracting
- Act as the single point of accountability for procurement delivery, ensuring milestones are achieved to plan
Person Specification
- The following key skills apply to the role(s):
- Proven experience leading complex, UK-wide service procurements
- Strong stakeholder management and governance capability
- Sound understanding of commercial contracting and risk management
- Able to operate at pace in a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment
This role is a Fixed Term Contract running until the end of 2026. It will be based onsite in our Leatherhead, Surrey office.
