We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships. This role focuses on ensuring cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and compliance standards. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, and experience in end-to-end procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchasing
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to meet procurement needs
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
- Track orders, deliveries, and supplier performance
- Analyze market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of contract management and supplier evaluation techniques
- Familiarity with industry-specific procurement practices
- Relevant certification such as:
- Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
