As a Technical Buyer, you will actively work on and be responsible for the execution of Permanent Point of Sale and Retail fixtures + fittings per client brief. Research into potential new suppliers globally, product innovation, and market intelligence as we expand out our global reach is paramount. You will work with relevant stakeholders ensuring effective handovers, supplier engagement and involvement of the appropriate parties as part of project implementations.
Financial
Adding true value to projects, challenging the norms to ensure growth within the category
Work with HH Global account teams to ensure that savings targets are met or exceeded in nominated accounts
per project and a clear brief, timings, locations, exports globally etc
Ensure best in class prices and supply chain suitable for each project, aligning the strategy
Use the best supplier / best price/ best logistics route, with freight / duties and tariffs globally
Manage the project execution through prototyping and signoff for production
Thereafter - hand over to client engagement Job Managers for POs, execution of production, freight, warehousing etc
Handover all technical aspects of each project including the Quality control documentation, to the QC team / suppliers
An experienced professional with good commercial experience in Permanent Display + Retail
Experience of business process re-engineering and procurement outsourcing
Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel skills
