Procurement Administrator

Working Monday to Friday at our office in Tideswell, the Procurement Administrator role will support the Procurement team to help ensure we are purchasing the right food at the right price which will exceed our customer expectations.
Responsibilities include
- Use of systems to source new products when required and obtain product specifications information
- Send out new product forms to suppliers for completion and liaise with Account Managers/Stock Control Department to get new line code created and stock ordered within the required timeframe
- When necessary react to internal requests to source new lines
- Obtain product information as requested by customers and other departments
- Arrange samples and monitor delivery/update colleagues accordingly
- Liaise with suppliers regarding specification changes/updates and obtain relevant paperwork, updating colleagues internally
- Assist with coordination of product review meetings
- Support Stock Control with admin requests
- Produce and send out supplier new account documentation and liaise with Finance Director/Technical Dept to open the new supplier account.
- Assist Procurement Officer/Manager in liaising with suppliers and the Marketing department on the production of company brochures and promotional leaflets when necessary
- Proof checking prices and product details
- Support and react to requests from Field Sales team
- Produce relevant paperwork for supplier rebate agreements, ensure signatures obtained and liaise with Finance department
- Involvement with new contract tenders contacting suppliers and obtaining/sourcing product information
- Logging of price increases/changes and ensuring they are updated on the relevant systems
- Liaise with Account Managers and suppliers to organise POS for customers when requested/required
- Send specifications to customers when requested
- Involvement in administration for supplier meetings; producing agendas and minutes, welcoming suppliers on arrival and offering/arranging refreshments.
- Use of internal stock control system to generate information to support supplier meetings
- Maintain and update the supplier contact spreadsheet and create a supplier group email for general communications
- Organisation of travel and accommodation arrangements if / when necessary
- Assist with the compilation of Market Newsletter
- Additional duties as required to support the department.
