Head of IT Procurement

A leading specialist financial services firm is looking for a Head of IT Procurement as they continue to invest in their procurement capability. This is a newly created role and will own the end-to-end sourcing strategy to drive measurable commercial value across the organisation, building a best in class team from a position of influence. Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of category managers across IT, SaaS, AI and Professional Services
• Drive commercial value through sourcing, negotiation and contract lifecycle management
• Build strategic supplier relationships with strong governance and risk management
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape the sourcing operating model
• Lead sourcing for emerging technologies, including AI consumption-based services

To be considered

• Deep IT and Professional Services category experience within financial services
• Proven track record building category strategies and hitting cost / consolidation targets
• Strong commercial and legal literacy, including tech and services contracts
• Highly credible communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Comfortable leading and contributing to cross-functional teams

On Offer

• £90,000 - £100,000 plus benefits
• Hybrid: 3 days / week in central London
