The Organisation

Kingsland Drinks is an employee-owned drinks specialist providing innovative solutions to the UK trade and beyond. They work with customers of all types and sizes, helping global brands develop new and innovative products whilst supporting challenger brands to scale up production and move their business to the next level. As well as contract packing for brand owners, they also supply all the UK’s major retailers with branded and own-label wines, and have their own bespoke range of wines that are exclusive to the on-trade and independent sector.

The Opportunity

At present, formal procurement within Kingsland Drinks primarily covers bottles, caps, and labelling, while wine sourcing is managed by the commercial teams, arriving at site either in bulk or packaged cases.

This appointment presents a significant opportunity to elevate and professionalise the procurement function, enabling the organisation to consolidate and manage a broader range of expenditure currently dispersed across various departments. This includes, but is not limited to IT, HR, professional services, property and facilities management, maintenance, marketing, as well as capital projects, warehousing, and logistics.

Your Background

Kingsland Drinks is seeking to appoint a seasoned procurement leader with deep and relevant category expertise, ideally developed within a leading FMCG, manufacturing, or complex supply chain environment. You will bring a proven track record of delivering transformational change, supported by outstanding interpersonal and leadership capabilities.

The successful individual will be required to be at the Irlam site 3+ days a week.
