Salary: £75,000 - £95,000 + car allowance + bonus
The Opportunity
I am currently working with a leading infrastructure and utilities business to recruit a Group Supply Chain Manager to support and enhance their procurement function at a strategic level.
This is a senior leadership role reporting into the Group Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, where you will play a key part in shaping procurement strategy, driving cost efficiencies, and leading a high-performing team across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to business objectives
Lead and support a team of procurement professionals, driving performance and collaboration
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Oversee supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management
Drive cost savings, efficiency improvements, and value across the supply chain
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including supplier consolidation and global sourcing
Manage procurement budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
Implement systems and tools to improve procurement efficiency and data visibility
Collaborate with finance, operations, and legal teams to ensure compliance and integration
Establish supplier performance frameworks, including audits and continuous improvement plans
Requirements
Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role
Strong track record of developing and delivering procurement strategies
Experience managing and developing teams
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability
Ability to analyse data and drive strategic decision-making
Experience working in a fast-paced, project or infrastructure-led environment
Desirable
Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or similar
Professional accreditation such as CIPS (or working towards)
Experience implementing procurement systems or digital tools
