Purchasing and Supply Chain Planner

We are looking for an Interim Material Planner to join a procurement & supply chain team in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This temporary role requires expertise in inventory management, ERP/MRP systems, and advanced Excel skills to ensure efficient material planning processes. This opportunity is with a medium-sized organisation operating within the industrial and manufacturing industry. Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimise excess.

Utilise ERP/MRP systems, such as Oracle, for material planning and scheduling.

Generate and analyse data reports using advanced Excel functions.

Identify and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain process.

Maintain accurate records of inventory and material planning activities.

A successful Interim Material Planner should have:

Strong knowledge of inventory management and supply chain planning principles

Significant relevant experience in materials planning, production scheduling, manufacturing, or inventory control (3-5 years preferred)

Competitive hourly rate of £15.00 to £17.00 GBP.
