Supply Chain Planner

Location: Leeds (hybrid role, 3 days onsite)

Salary: £23.08 per hour

Duration: 12 months

Hours: Monday-Friday, Flexible office hours

Our client, a respected global organisation, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to manage a complex supplier network and ensure exceptional supply continuity. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a broad network of global suppliers and lead proactive supplier performance management
  • Maintain and improve customer service levels while optimising inventory
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operational processes across a critical supply chain segment
  • Identify and eliminate potential supply failures through effective planning
  • Promote preventive practices and champion improvements to supply chain leadership
  • Work cross‑functionally to deliver tactical short‑ and mid‑term improvements using Six Sigma principles

About You

  • Degree (B.A./B.S) or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, ideally with planning and analytical experience
  • Strong background in supplier performance management, including escalation management
  • Understanding of trade‑offs, total cost of ownership, exception management, and inbound materials tracking
  • Ability to collaborate with data teams to optimise planning parameters
  • Experience delivering both individual and team performance improvements
