We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team, supporting the delivery of the Sellafield Integrated Delivery Partner (IDP) Framework. Working within our expanding Nuclear Infrastructure business unit, you will be responsible for driving sustainable growth, innovation, and capability across the supply chain. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will collaborate with suppliers, internal stakeholders, SMEs and VCSEs to strengthen partnerships, improve performance, and create long-term value through one of the UK's most significant nuclear infrastructure frameworks.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting the successful delivery of the Sellafield IDP Framework.
- Driving sustainable business growth and capability development across the supply chain.
- Promoting and increasing engagement with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to foster collaboration and shared success.
- Identifying and promoting innovation opportunities that enhance supply chain performance and value delivery.
- Supporting risk and compliance activities to ensure supplier adherence to contractual, regulatory, and business requirements.
- Monitoring and analysing supplier performance data, identifying trends, and implementing improvement opportunities.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that drive efficiency, effectiveness, and best practice across the supply chain.
- Supporting the development and implementation of supply chain engagement strategies aligned to project and business objectives.
- Championing social value and responsible business practices throughout the supply chain.
Skills, Experience And Qualifications
- Experience within a supply chain, procurement, business support, or similar commercial environment.
- Experience of collaborating with suppliers, stakeholders, or external partners to deliver successful outcomes.
- Experience supporting business growth, supplier engagement, or capability development initiatives.
- Experience analysing performance data and using insights to drive improvement.
- Strong commercial understanding with a history of delivering mutually beneficial, value-focused outcomes.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends and implement practical, data-driven solutions.
- Strong people skills with the ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and work collaboratively across organisations.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, SMEs, VCSEs and internal teams.
- Initiative-taking approach to identifying opportunities and driving positive change.
- Confidence engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
- Relevant professional qualifications in supply chain, procurement or business disciplines are desirable but not essential.
