Data & AI Program Lead – GxP, R&D, Data, Supply Chain – 100% Remote, UK

A large global organisation are looking for a Data & AI Program Lead who would be responsible for driving the vision, strategy and execution of data, analytics and AI.

This will be an initial 6 - 12 months+ contract with the opportunity for multiple extensions.

The role can be worked 100% remotely from the UK.

Key Skills/Responsibilities

Define and maintain the Data & AI program strategy aligned with business and digital transformation objectives. Build and manage a multi-year roadmap covering data platforms, advanced analytics, machine learning, and GenAI applications. Identify high-value business use cases in areas such as marketing, R&D, medical affairs, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain. 7–12+ years of experience in data, analytics, AI, or digital transformation roles. Proven track record leading complex data/AI programs in regulated environments. Strong understanding of data architecture, ML/AI technologies, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience working with cross-functional teams in commercial, R&D, medical, or supply chain contexts. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and program governance skills. Knowledge of Generative AI, LLM integration, prompt engineering, and responsible AI frameworks. Familiarity with GxP systems, clinical data standards, PV requirements, and regulatory submissions.
