Working within a high-growth consumer facing-business, the Procurement Manager will report directly into the SLT and will assist in evolving the Procurement function from a transactional to a strategic, value‑adding partner within the business. —improving inventory accuracy, developing people, strengthening supplier relationships and embedding new processes, governance and capability.
Your Remit
The Procurement Manager will
- Cleanse and optimise inventory and ERP data accuracy, using data to facilitate procurement efficiencies
- Coach, develop and mentor their team
- Assist in implementing robust supplier relationship management-, supplier due diligence- processes, KPIs and governance
- Support the team's transition into category management
- Work and build relationships cross‑functionally to resolve supply issues
About You
The ideal Procurement Manager will have/be
- Proven direct/product procurement management experience essential
- Strong background in inventory management beneficial
- Experienced in supplier relationship management and contract negotiation
- Experience coaching, managing and developing junior procurement staff
- Comfortable working in a rapid growth environment —calm under pressure
- People-focused, strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work full time on site
