We are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Assistant to assist the PPIC Manager with the day to day operations of the department.

Job Description

The Candidate

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system.
  • Confidence following up and managing deadlines.

Key Tasks

  • Transferring of stock between storage locations.
  • Responsible for all non-production purchasing. Creation of orders (SAP and Manual), sourcing of products and liaising with suppliers.
  • Book deliveries into SAP.
  • Procure intercompany products in line with customer demand.
  • Organise paperwork, such as delivery notes and incoming delivery schedules.
  • Effectively communicate with other departments, including intercompany.
  • Prepare reports as and when required.
  • Ordering raw materials from Suppliers.
  • Creation and maintenance of master data on SAP.
  • Assist with Stock Check.
  • Assist with Production Planning.
  • Assist with Packaging Waste Data and Submissions.
  • Comply with Health & Safety and Environmental Policies.

Hours of work:-

Your normal hours of work will be 37.5 per week, 8 hours per day between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (half hour unpaid lunch break).
