Fantastic opportunity to undertake a high-visibility Head of Supply Chain role with accountability for providing strategic vision and direction to our complete supply chain, with an emphasis on procurement.

Working as part of our senior team, you will be accountable for developing our international supply chains and supporting ongoing growth and development plans whilst ensuring the best, most consistent quality of materials for our complex engineered products.

As our Head of Supply Chain, you will need to have a mix of commercial/strategic acumen gained within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment together with exceptional planning and organization skills, but with the ability to be tactical and lead by example.

Acting as the main point of contact within the business in this key Supply Chain Management role you will be responsible for:

Taking a lead role in developing and driving robust international sourcing strategies

Reviewing and overhauling the current supply chain system with a view to identifying areas for improvements whether this is systems or process driven.

Project management of development stages of new products from a supply chain perspective.

Inventory Management and management of the customer demand schedule and balancing with business capacity

A commercial, results driven individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A background in materials management / supply chain / purchasing or demand management within an electro-mechanical manufacturing / production environment

A regulated industry background such as automotive, aerospace, medical or similar

Some previous international supply chain experience highly desirable

Mechanical / electro-mechanical commodity knowledge

Likely to suit individuals with a background as (but not limited to) Head of Supply Chain, Materials Manager, Head of Procurement, Supply Chain Manager, Purchasing Manager, Materials and Supply Chain Leader or similar
