Purpose
- The Procurement Analyst will support the Indirect Procurement function by ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of procurement-related data and reporting within SAP. The role is central to managing contract price updates, master data coordination, catalogue accuracy, and analytical reporting to support category strategies and decision-making. The position works closely with Category Managers, the Master Data team, and other internal stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, data integrity, and compliance with procurement processes.
- The Procurement Analyst is to provide analytical, operational, and system support to the Indirect Procurement team by maintaining accurate SAP procurement data, supporting category management through reporting and insights, and ensuring supplier catalogues and pricing information are current, compliant, and fit for purpose.
- Manage and process requests for contract price updates in SAP, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with approved agreements.
- Coordinate with the Master Data team to create, update, and maintain SAP vendor codes, material/service codes, and related master data.
- Run, analyse, and distribute SAP procurement reports (e.g. spend, pricing, contract compliance, supplier performance) to support the Head of Procurement Indirects and Category Managers.
- Maintain and update procurement catalogues, ensuring correct pricing, descriptions, specifications, and supplier information across multiple vendors.
- Support category managers with data analysis, ad-hoc reporting, and insights to inform sourcing and negotiation strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact for system-related procurement queries, including SAP data issues and reporting requests.
- Ensure procurement data governance standards are followed, including audit readiness and documentation, meeting SOX compliance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within procurement data management and reporting.
- Support additional procurement-related activities and projects as required
- Experience in a procurement, supply chain, or commercial analyst role.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM and/or SRM modules preferred), particularly pricing, master data, and reporting.
- High level of data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g. Master Data, Finance, Category Managers).
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
