Location: Office-Based (5 Days Per Week, no hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join a growing business within the food sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional with a strong background in food manufacturing, FMCG or food distribution and proven expertise in Demand Planning.

Key Responsibilities

Support the management of end-to-end supply chain operations.

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to optimise stock levels and service performance.

Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations and Logistics teams to align supply with customer demand.

Monitor inventory levels, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

Analyse supply chain data and present actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function.

Requirements

Previous experience within a food supply chain environment is essential.

Strong Demand Planning and forecasting experience.- Essential

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good Excel.- Essential

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
