Are you a strategic supply chain leader ready to take full ownership of a complex, multi-temperature operation within a global organisation?
We are partnering with a world-leading, international business at the forefront of logistics, distribution, and supply chain innovation. With a strong UK footprint and continued investment, they are now seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Director to lead and transform operations across their Midlands network.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you will shape strategy, drive performance, and deliver excellence across both temperature-controlled (chilled & frozen) and ambient supply chains.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will have full accountability for end-to-end supply chain operations, leading a large-scale, multi-site network across the Midlands.
You will
- Define and execute the UK supply chain strategy aligned with global objectives
- Lead multi-temperature operations (ambient, chilled, frozen) across warehousing and transport
- Drive operational excellence, service performance, and cost optimisation
- Champion continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation
- Build and develop high-performing leadership teams
- Manage key customer relationships and SLAs within a fast-paced FMCG environment
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially astute, forward-thinking leader with a strong operational backbone.
Essential experience
- Proven track record in a senior supply chain leadership role (Head of / Director level)
- Experience managing temperature-controlled (chilled/frozen) and ambient logistics operations
- Strong background in FMCG, retail, or 3PL environments
- End-to-end supply chain expertise (warehousing, transport, planning, inventory)
- Demonstrated success in large-scale transformation and continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder management, including board-level engagement
Desirable
- Experience within a global or matrix organisation
- Experience within temperature controlled & ambient environments
- Exposure to automation, WMS/TMS optimisation, or network redesign
- Degree-qualified or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
