Join a trusted, growing leader in sports construction and placemaking.

An internal promotion has created an opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Procurement team and play a key part in helping us deliver high-quality sports facilities and landscaped environments across the UK. If you enjoy variety, take pride in accuracy, and thrive in a supportive, fast-paced setting, this could be the perfect next step.

The role

As Procurement Support Assistant, you’ll work closely with colleagues across Procurement and Contracts to keep projects running smoothly. You’ll process delivery documentation, match and check supplier invoices, track hired-in plant and contribute to the production of handover manuals for clients — helping ensure every project reaches completion to the standards S&C Slatter is known for.

Is this you?

This role is ideal for

  • Someone building a career in procurement, keen to learn from experienced colleagues in a friendly, supportive team; or
  • An experienced administrator who can manage their workload independently and is looking for a stable role that supports a healthy work–life balance.

You’ll bring good judgement, strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication, accuracy, and a proactive, positive and flexible mindset. For experienced candidates who may need to balance professional responsibilities with childcare or other commitments, flexible working options are available.

About S&C Slatter

We are specialists in sports construction, placemaking and professional services. For 35 years we’ve been a trusted partner to schools, universities, councils, sports clubs and major organisations nationwide — delivering first-class facilities for clients ranging from Everton FC and Eton College to Harwell Science Campus and The Hurst School in Tadley.

We design, build and maintain sports pitches, courts, tracks and multi-use games areas, all independently tested to meet or exceed the standards of FIFA, the FA, World Rugby, the LTA and other governing bodies.

Alongside our sports work, our Placemaking team partners with architects, consultants and investors to transform open spaces — creating inspirational landscapes that support wellbeing, enhance biodiversity and bring communities together.

Our in-house Professional Services team supports clients at every stage, from feasibility and funding through to design, planning and project handover, helping turn ambitious ideas into successful, buildable projects.
