Our client is seeking a Head of Procurement to be responsible for supporting a wide range of procurement activities across multiple categories, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various business units to develop and execute sourcing strategies that aim to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enhance service quality. Responsibilities
- Analyse market trends and evaluate supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
- Implement procurement best practices and utilize spend data analytics to formulate effective sourcing strategies that yield cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Assist with procurement-related projects, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Foster strong relationships within the organization and with external suppliers to align procurement planning with overall business strategies.
- Review contractual agreements with legal teams and advise on contractual obligations and considerations.
- Prepare RFx documentation and lead processes such as RFPs, RFIs, and competitive tenders.
- Negotiate pricing terms and conditions to secure favourable agreements.
- Proven success with procurement management, demonstrating tangible results and leadership in the field.
- Between three and five years of relevant experience, preferably within the financial services sector, with a solid understanding of procurement principles and best practices.
- Strong work ethic, capable of performing effectively under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Self-driven and motivated, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels, including executive leadership.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.

- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, integrity, and internal control processes in all activities.
