- Build strong relationships with defence stakeholders, ensuring procurement is engaged early and adds value across strategic projects.
- Lead sourcing activity and negotiate complex contracts across niche technologies and services, working with a lot of SME's.
- Drive Supplier Relationship Management across key suppliers to improve performance, governance, innovation and long-term value for the end customer.
- Support the wider transformation agenda by increasing SME engagement, embedding sustainability and helping shift the function towards more strategic business partnering.
Key requirements:
- Proven experience leading procurement or contracts teams in a complex environment.
- Strong depth in contract negotiation and Supplier Relationship Management.
- Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge credibly at senior level.
- Background in defence, engineering, manufacturing, technology or other project-led environments would be highly advantageous.
Why join?
- Join QinetiQ at a genuinely exciting point in its procurement transformation, with continued investment and growth in the function.
