The Opportunity

The Role

Sitting within a specialist supply chain team supporting a large, complex business unit, you’ll gain exposure to end-to-end procurement activity across a diverse supplier base. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a forward-thinking, transformation-driven environment.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing contract administration, including maintaining accurate records and processing contract changes
  • Providing analytical insight to support commercial and procurement decision-making
  • Supporting the development and tracking of KPIs to measure supplier and contract performance
  • Running low-complexity sourcing activities and supporting supplier selection processes
  • Identifying opportunities to increase engagement with SME suppliers
  • Monitoring supplier risk across areas such as resilience, financial health, and sustainability
  • Supporting Supplier Relationship Management through performance and spend analysis
  • Contributing to a major systems transformation programme, including the transition to a new Source-to-Pay platform
  • Driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and ways of working

Experience & Background

  • Degree educated or equivalent experience
  • Interest in pursuing or working towards MCIPS (desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in using technology to enhance procurement and supply chain performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, etc.)
