We are seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Manager to lead and develop our procurement function. This role will be responsible for overseeing supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy to ensure the organisation secures high-quality goods and services at competitive prices while supporting operational efficiency.. . The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, improving supply networks, and ensuring procurement activities align with company objectives and budget requirements.. . **Key Responsibilities**. . - Lead and manage procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.. - Monitor market trends and identify suitable suppliers and products that support business needs.. - Evaluate budgetary constraints and operational requirements to determine appropriate quantity, quality, and range of goods and services to be purchased.. - Lead supplier sourcing, tendering processes, and contract negotiations to secure favourable terms.. - Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.. - Identify opportunities to improve supply chains and procurement processes, presenting recommendations to senior management.. - Ensure all purchased goods meet company quality standards and specifications, managing returns or corrective actions where required.. - Work closely with merchandising and operational teams to support stock planning and sales forecasts.. - Maintain procurement records, supplier documentation, and prepare procurement reports for management.. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, company policies, and procurement best practices.. - . . **Requirements**. . - Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.. - Minimum 4–6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within retail or a similar industry.. - Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.. - Proficiency in procurement systems and the MS Office suite.. - Strong analytical and organisational abilities with attention to detail.. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.. - Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.. . **Additional Information**.
