The Department plays a key role in providing financial planning and insight to enable the delivery of the University's ambitions and to add value to the University's activities. The role of Deputy Director of Finance & Procurement (Management Accounting & Business Partnering) is to manage a team of trusted business partners, supporting budget holders to make effective decisions to deliver the University’s strategic aims. The role will deliver the provision of high-quality financial insight, and relevant models and tools, to enable budget holders to manage costs and allocate resources effectively and promote financial literacy across the University.

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. We may be able to support a part time appointment for this position. We current anticipate interviews being held either at the end of October or early November.
