We're working with a high-profile, fast-paced UK business seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its Supply Chain & Logistics Finance team.

This is more than a month-end role. You'll work closely with operational teams and 3PL providers, using financial insight to understand cost drivers, challenge performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

It's a large, complex operation with genuine long-term career opportunities for someone who wants to develop and make an impact.

The role

• Prepare management accounts, forecasts, budgets and insightful variance analysis
• Build strong relationships across Supply Chain, Logistics and Head Office
• Partner with operational teams and multiple 3PLs to understand performance and cost drivers
• Identify efficiencies, savings and process improvements
• Own balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls
• Analyse large volumes of data and turn it into clear, actionable insight
• Support inter-departmental transfers, projects and wider Finance initiatives

What you'll bring

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part-qualified
• Strong management accounting and commercial experience
• Supply Chain / Logistics experience advantageous, not essential
• Commercially curious with the confidence to challenge and ask why?
• Strong communication skills and able to explain Finance to non-finance teams
• Process improvement mindset and high level of accountability
• Advanced Excel and confident working with large data sets
