Our client, a long-established and successful business, is seeking a Graduate Supply Chain professional to join their Logistics team at their Head Office in Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in logistics and supply chain management. In this role, you will play a key part in planning global transport routes, ensuring goods are shipped and received within agreed timescales, while maintaining cost efficiency and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with internal departments to arrange timely shipment of goods
Plan and coordinate loads and shipments worldwide
Manage the claims process with shipping lines and insurers
Negotiate transport solutions to achieve cost efficiencies and maximise profit
Produce regular performance and shipment reports
Act as the main point of contact throughout the transportation process

The Ideal Candidate

Degree-qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline
Previous work experience in logistics or supply chain
Understanding of global shipping routes and export documentation
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
