Job Description

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a highly capable and proactive assistant to the Production Planner to support our expanding operations and supply chain functions. Key Responsibilities

Support day-to-day planning and coordination of manufacturing operations.
Work with production and supply chain teams to manage workflow and production schedules.
Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
Assist with operational reporting, inventory tracking, and production administration tasks.
Identify and help resolve bottlenecks or material flow issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Contribute to process improvements and planning accuracy using data and insight.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re open to applicants from a range of backgrounds, whether you're a recent graduate, early-career professional, or someone with a strong academic foundation looking to take your first step into manufacturing and operations.

You’ll ideally bring

Good GCSEs or A-Levels in Maths and English; a degree is welcome but not essential.
Excellent English comprehension & writing (comfortable with sales orders/technical & procedural docs).
Strong numerical reasoning and IT skills (competent in Excel, Word, Outlook, PDFs, lookups/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc)
Confident communicator Ability to liaise with and update colleagues and suppliers alike.
Meticulous attention to detail, organised, calm under pressure and working to deadlines.
A team player with a proactive, willingness to learn / problem-solving approach.
Great attitude, fast learner a must; Industry experience MRP/ERP is nice to have but not essential as training provided.
