Procurement Partner / Senior Lawyer | Manchester (or other UK offices) | Competitive Package

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Procurement Partner, or senior lawyer ready to step up, to take a leading role in driving the growth of its procurement practice across the UK.

With a strong national reputation and ambitious expansion plans, this is a rare opportunity to join a team at the forefront of procurement and commercial advisory work, with flexibility to be based in Manchester, London, or other regional offices.

The team advises a broad client base, including public and private sector organisations, corporates, and high-value service providers. Work includes:

Strategic procurement and commercial advisory matters
Complex contracts and supply chain arrangements
Collaborative projects with multi-stakeholder organisations
Dispute avoidance and risk management in procurement frameworks

This role offers real influence and autonomy: you will be central to shaping and expanding the firm’s procurement offering, leveraging an existing platform and client base, while contributing to a clear national growth strategy.

The Candidate

Experienced procurement / commercial solicitor (likely 8+ PQE), ideally with partner-level experience or ready to step up
Proven track record in advising on procurement, commercial contracts, or public sector work
Strong client-facing skills with a commercial and pragmatic mindset
Collaborative and entrepreneurial, able to mentor colleagues and grow the practice
Ambitious, with the drive to shape a growing national team
