An interim, hands-on Senior Procurement Manager opportunity with a major, government organisation, to lead complex procurement activity. This is a delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, pace, and tangible outcomes.
You'll take projects from early needs analysis through to contract award, shaping strategy while rolling up sleeves to drive delivery.
The Role
- Leading end-to-end procurement projects in a regulated setting
- Managing supplier relationships and driving value
- Supporting and executing procurement strategy across Facilities Management (FM) and Works categories
- Navigating NEC contracts and ensuring robust commercial outcomes
- Delivering in a complex stakeholder environment with confidence and clarity
Requirements
- Must have 5+ years public sector Procurement experience
- Strong background in Facilities Management (FM)
- Proven track record delivering complex Procurement projects end-to-end, in highly regulated, complex environments
- Solid understanding of NEC contracts and contract management principles
- Excellent supplier engagement and stakeholder management skills
- A "doer" mindse, i.e. someone who leads from the front and delivers
