
Armaflo is looking for a practical, commercially aware Supply Chain Coordinator to help strengthen our purchasing and stock processes. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day purchasing activity, improve accuracy across the system, and help us build a more efficient supply chain. For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into managing the department over time.
The role
You will be responsible for supporting and improving our purchasing function, helping to ensure products are bought accurately, competitively and on time. This role is about more than placing orders — we want someone who can bring structure, discipline and good judgement to the way purchasing is managed.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day purchasing activity across a wide product range
- Raise and progress purchase orders with suppliers
- Build strong supplier relationships and support price / terms negotiations
- Help improve buying consistency, supplier choice and overall purchasing efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and support better stock planning and replenishment
- Check and maintain product data, supplier codes, descriptions, pricing and pack quantities
- Reduce order errors and improve overall process accuracy
- Work closely with sales, operations and warehouse teams to ensure purchasing supports business needs
- Help develop better systems, reporting and supply chain processes over time
About you
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, stock control or supply chain coordination
- Commercially minded, organised and detail-focused
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment
- Able to spot problems, improve processes and take ownership
- Confident dealing with suppliers and internal teams
- Good systems skills and able to work accurately with product and pricing data
- Experience in construction, electrical, M&E, fixings, industrial or building products would be a real advantage

Pay: £38,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
