Remote UK | £120,000–£130,000 + Package

My client, a leading global organisation, is looking to appoint a Global Technology Procurement Lead to take on a senior, high-profile role within its global procurement function.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a c.$400m Technology Procurement remit, manage and develop a global team of 13 Sourcing Managers, and play a key role in some of the organisation's most strategically important Technology and AI programmes.

This is a hands-on leadership role. Alongside leading the global team, you will personally take ownership of major strategic negotiations and complex technology deals.

The role:

• Lead and develop a global team of 13 Sourcing Managers across multiple international locations

• Take responsibility for approximately $400m annual Technology spend and 500+ sourcing projects

• Personally lead major global negotiations across Software, SaaS, Cloud, AI and IT Professional Services

• Help shape and execute the organisation's global AI procurement strategy

• Lead complex RFPs, contract negotiations, renewals and strategic vendor negotiations

• Work directly with major global Technology and AI suppliers

• Partner with senior Technology and business leadership globally

• Drive commercial value, innovation, savings and supplier performance

What we're looking for:

You will be an experienced Technology Procurement leader with 10+ years' experience and a strong track record within large, complex global organisations.

You must have significant hands-on vendor negotiation experience across Software/SaaS, Cloud and Technology Services. This is not a purely strategic or people-management position – you will personally negotiate some of the organisation's largest and most complex technology agreements.

Strong AI procurement and negotiation experience is essential. We are particularly interested in candidates who have directly negotiated AI platforms, solutions or services with major vendors such as Microsoft, OpenAI, Google, AWS, Anthropic, IBM, Oracle or other leading AI/technology providers.

You will combine deep commercial and technology expertise with the ability to lead a global team, influence senior stakeholders and operate as a trusted advisor to Technology leadership.
