Opportunity
Are you an indirect strategic sourcing and procurement expert with a passion for driving best value and managing risk? Do you want to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering great service and driving procurement more strategically? This international law firm is looking for a Travel and Professional Services Procurement Specialist to lead on procurement and sourcing projects and be the dedicated contract manager for the travel-related contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Undertaking industry and market analysis, conducting supplier negotiations, and supporting in the development and implementation of procurement strategy plans.
Leading and executing projects, influencing commercial decisions, and proactively engaging with the business and service functions.
Building strong relationships and being a crucial figure in positioning procurement more strategically within the firm.
Managing the firm's travel policy, monitoring compliance and periodic updates.
Responding to queries regarding travel management process and bookings.
Defining the strategy of Travel Management for the firm.
Implementing and maintaining processes for carbon management to achieve the firm's net zero ambitions.

Experience Required
Clear evidence of previous experience within indirect categories - showing evidence of considerable self-development throughout your procurement career.
Evidence of working on the strategic side of procurement - with knowledge of sourcing processes.
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving and fast paced environment.
Clear track record of stakeholder management with a clear focus on strategy implementation and risk mitigation.
CIPS qualification is preferred but not essential.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
