What You’ll Be Doing
This is an opportunity to shape procurement across a truly global organisation.
We are looking for someone to lead procurement for an organisation that operates in more than 150 countries and territories, helping ensure our teams have the goods and services they need to care for cemeteries, memorials and records around the world.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you'll oversee around £30m of non-pay spend and shape the future of procurement across the Commission. From major contracts and supplier relationships to procurement governance and commercial strategy, you'll play a key role in how we operate globally.
You'll work with colleagues across our international teams to improve the way we buy goods and services, deliver value for money, manage risk and support long-term sustainability. One day you might be negotiating a strategic contract, the next you could be helping solve a procurement challenge for colleagues working on the other side of the world.
This is a rare opportunity to combine commercial leadership with genuine purpose. The decisions you make won't just support a procurement function, they'll help enable the work we do for millions of visitors across our global estate and ensure we continue to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice for generations to come.
What You Need To Have
- Has led procurement in a complex organisation with operations across multiple locations, countries or regions
- Knows how to turn procurement into a strategic advantage, not just a compliance process
- Can build strong supplier partnerships and negotiate deals that deliver long-term value
- Are comfortable influencing senior leaders and challenging thinking where needed
- Enjoys solving complex commercial problems and making things happen

What We Offer
- 25 days annual leave, rising by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 30
- 1 privilege day, half day on Maundy Thursday, paid public holidays and paid time off between Christmas and New Year
- Flexible working arrangements
- Generous Pension Scheme, with CWGC contributing up to 10%
- Life Assurance
- Employee Assistance Programme
- Cycle To Work & Electric Vehicle schemes
