Job Description

The Associate Director - Procurement Benefits Realisation will lead the strategic implementation of procurement initiatives and accountability to maximize benefits and efficiencies across the organisation. The role involves developing and executing strategies to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business objectives, delivering cost savings and value creation.

Salary & Benefits

£70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + 15% Pension contributions + 30 days holiday

Hybrid working model - 2 days in the office

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organisation's goals.
  • Lead efforts in identifying and realising procurement benefits, ensuring cost-effective and efficient procurement practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive procurement initiatives and monitor progress.
  • Establish accountability frameworks to track performance and ensure achievement of procurement targets.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships to optimise value and performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in procurement management and benefits realisation.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on accountability and results.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and drive cross-functional initiatives.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) preferred.
  • Significant experience in a senior procurement role with a focus on benefits realisation.
  • MCIPs qualification
