Role Description
This full-time hybrid role, based in Blackburn with some work-from-home flexibility, is for an Inventory & Procurement Specialist. The role involves managing physical inventory and ensuring accurate inventory control and management processes. Responsibilities include monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory records, optimizing processes to minimize costs, and ensuring timely procurement of goods to meet business needs. The specialist will collaborate closely with teams to ensure operational efficiency and maintenance of optimal stock levels.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Inventory, Inventory Control, and Inventory Management practices
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate effectively with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software is a plus
- Previous experience in procurement, logistics, or inventory roles is preferred
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Relevant certification or a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage
