EnDAI – Environmental Diagnostic AI | Kaiba
Kaiba is a technology spinout from the University of Strathclyde, developing AI-driven tools to support sustainable, data-led decision-making in manufacturing and supply chains.
We are recruiting a Supply Chain Digital Engineer to support the development of EnDAI, an Environmental Diagnostic AI platform funded by a 13 months Grant. EnDAI enables OEMs and manufacturers to quantify and reduce environmental impact - particularly Scope 3 emissions - across metal manufacturing supply chains using engineering and process data rather than traditional financial-based approaches.
This role offers the opportunity to work on applied industrial AI at the intersection of manufacturing, data, and sustainability, in collaboration with the University of Strathclyde and a Fortune-500 industrial partner.
- Contribute to the development of EnDAI’s digital architecture and environmental estimation models
- Translate product, process, and supply-chain data into structured digital formats
- Develop algorithms to estimate Scope 1, 2 and 3 CO₂ emissions across manufacturing and logistics
- Support the development of a recommendation engine identifying lower-impact technology and supply-chain options
- Analyse real industrial datasets and support case-study testing
- Produce technical documentation aligned with grant and project milestones
