Description
- Manage procurement activities across the People category, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve value for money.
- Lead supplier negotiations and build strong supplier relationships.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to.
- Provide procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance and savings achieved.
- Identify and mitigate procurement risks.
- Ensure adherence to public sector procurement policies and procedures.
Profile
A successful Interim Procurement Manager should have:
- Strong experience in public sector procurement (PCR2015 and PA23)
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and organised approach to managing procurement activities.
Job Offer
- Daily rate of £500 (Umbrella)
