Procurement Officer: Belfast, Northern Ireland (On-site)

We’re looking for a driven Procurement Officer to join our integrated supply chain team. You’ll work hands-on with suppliers and stakeholders to secure goods and services that meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. Your focus: ensuring a smooth, efficient procurement process that delivers real value.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and manage RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and bid evaluations for high-value or technically complex procurements.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals for technical and commercial compliance in coordination with other functions and quality assurance teams.
  • Source and purchase goods, materials, and services at the right cost, quality, and time.
  • Analyse markets, supplier performance, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve best value.
  • Manage contractual risks, claims, variations, and amendments, ensuring timely resolution and documentation
  • Liaise with legal and project teams to interpret and apply contractual obligations and deliverables.
  • Improve procurement processes to boost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional supplier relationships.
  • Work in a dynamic and growing procurement environment with amazing challenges that will allow you to increase your knowledge and experience in different types of purchases.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in procurement or a similar role.
  • Strong contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the local supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related filed.
  • Professional certification preferred (e,g, CIPS, CPSM, CPP, CPSD)
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement and contract management.
