Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Engagement Lead to join our Professional Services team at Optilogic. As the Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing client engagements from inception through delivery, ensuring that Optilogic’s supply chain optimization solutions are successfully implemented. You will be the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and provide measurable business value. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with expertise in supply chain management, project delivery, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the engagement lifecycle, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships. Understand clients’ strategic objectives and supply chain needs, ensuring that Optilogic’s solutions are tailored to deliver optimal outcomes. Project Delivery & Management: Lead the end-to-end delivery of supply chain optimization projects. Manage project timelines, scope, resources, and budgets, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction. Utilize best-in-class project management methodologies to track project progress, mitigate risks, and address challenges as they arise. Solution Implementation: Work closely with internal teams to design, implement, and optimize supply chain solutions using Optilogic’s platform and tools. Ensure the solutions meet the specific needs of each client, enhancing operational efficiency and business performance. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project goals. Provide regular updates to senior leadership and clients on progress, risks, and key milestones. Mentorship & Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to consultants and other team members, ensuring high levels of performance and collaboration. Promote knowledge-sharing and best practices within the team. Management: Manage a small team (2-4) professional services consultants to support client projects. Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage potential risks and issues, ensuring that corrective actions are taken to keep projects on track and meet client expectations. Continuous Improvement: Stay current on industry trends, supply chain best practices, and new technologies. Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and processes that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Professional Services team.
Qualifications
Experience
At least 10+ years of experience in consulting or professional services, with a focus on supply chain management, logistics, or operations. Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase supply chain projects and leading client engagements from start to finish. Hands-on experience with supply chain optimization software, ERP systems, or other related technologies (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. PMP, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a diverse team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to clients and stakeholders at all levels. Deep knowledge of supply chain functions such as demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms). Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and ability to think creatively under pressure.
